Belle, Belle Dining Room —

When the dining room is where you want to focus, it’s usually believed that formal furniture and neutral coloring are the best way to go. As you can probably expect, we at turnstyle disagree! Always here to push the envelope, we took this wonderful space and turned a white room into a harmonious and vibrant dining room that is perfect for both entertaining and luring those that are ready to join at the table.

The table is as one would expect, the centerpiece which takes up most of the room. It’s an original turnstylist design that has been custom-designed with a gorgeous walnut-wood top with a gilt metal geometric base. We surrounded it with a mix of colored upholstered linen chairs, and instead of using a newly manufactured chandelier, we selected this stunning antique Murano glass piece with aubergine tones that hangs pride of place to properly “cap-off” the room.

The back wall of this architectural niche is lined with wonderful metallic wallpaper, then flanked by two-hand-painted Chinoiserie screens. We cannot emphasize enough, please don’t be timid – feel free to take your dining room a step further any day by including more color.
