As a designer, my favorite thing about any client engagement is the renewed opportunity to explore and conceive. Each new project is an opportunity to find out about someone. To tell a story, to determine and extract what it is exactly that defines an individual client, a family, or a couple. Clients typically come to me finally seeking a way to realize what they have always had a hard time saying themselves: who are we and how do we convey this in our home? Because we should all come home to a place that’s EXCITING AND FEELS EXACTLY LIKE WHO WE ARE! Yes, it’s an indulgence, but a worthy one if you think of how much a disorganized, unrealized home brings us down.
