A SPACE TO GROW
A more traditional home at first glance, this home houses a young family of four, ready to skillfully challenge the typical expectations of its façade.
Our consistent aim in any project is to partner with and play up the architecture of a home; for young families we see it as necessary to do this playfully. The tongue-in-cheek touches create opportunities for child and grown-up play to coexist.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
We capitalized on storage, giving the home organization and functionality in the way its spaces are used.
In a study requested for both dad and his boys, we accommodate everyone comfortably and harmoniously through the design of custom built-ins.
Plush, joyous area rugs ensure parents and kids can linger for lots of down-on-the floor amusement.
Rounded, well-chosen pieces encourage ebullient flow so no one bumps into pieces at play. In this home we created spaces which feel both mature and non-intimidating, suiting the needs of this more youthful family.
The boldly patterned wallpaper in the foyer (shown below) welcomes visitors with a solid wink of the eye.
